Indoogrid Dotnetnuke 6

I upgraded to DNN6 and having a problem with Indoogrid; Invalid column name 'dnn:user:userid'.

Any ideas to fix this problem?

I am having a similar problem in DNN 6.0 trying to use the token [User:username] as part of my filter in what to display in the grid. It is pulling back no results.

Same here. I'm pulling the plug on DNN 6 for now due to the indoogrid issues. Some sites i used razor templates to overcome the problem, and allow greater customization (using indoogrid for the backoffice), but there are still some critical sites that the effort is just to great, so a solution to this is urgent.

Hey,

Good thing I didnt update then - I really hope Indoogrid is working on a DNN6 fix.

I have asked DNN support whether they know or have heard anything from Indoogrid - especially since DNN6 entails a revision of all its modules with its new integrated Snowcovered solution. Ill sure post their reply...

However, I have found this post (7 days old) about issues with tokens, with a possible semi-answer :-) I cant test this myself yet, but maybe itll work as a temp solution for some of you?

I hope Indoogrid creators will soon chip in and provide its customers with some feedback... no matter how horrible :P

Workarround (replacing Text.ascx en Text.ascx.cs) not working. I hope Indoolab (or DNN) will come with a solution or workarround fast.

Unfortunately there is no quick work-around for this issue for now. Version 6 blocks token processing for all tokens with square brackets, so module works only without tokens. Tokens are really important for customization. In some rare cases tokens works when square brackets are replaced with double pointed -angle brackets like this »« This type of brackets instruct parser to evaluate tokens later. Anyway, there is also major change in dnn6 internal structure, so some of tokens will not work even other condition are ok. It is always possible to access internal dnn values with getObject token but knowledge about core dnn internal structure is required. In this case user id value can be get with this token »getObject:Dotnetnuke.Entities.Users.UserController.GetCurrentUserInfo.UserId« but this is not always ok, because parser evaluates values too late in some cases.

Support for module will not be available until 10.8.2011, then we will try to provide more information and also possible solution for this.
